Though usually rangers, any elf can become a Guardian, so long as they remain of good alignment.

Guardian Chant: A chant unique to Forest Guardians, they may use this chant before or during battle to gain the following benefits:
Immunity to fear checks
+1 morale bonus to attack rolls and saving throws, as per the bless spell
The Guardian Chant affects only on a personal level, and only Guardians, but 5 or more Forest Guardians chanting at the same time has a 50% chance of inspiring other elves and a 25% chance of inspiring other races to get the same benefits.
Pass without Trace: As per the druid spell of the same name.
Uncanny Dodge: As per the barbarian ability.
Commune with Nature: As per the druid spell of the same name.
Speak with Plants/Animals: As per the druid spells of the same name.
